Blizzard says World of Warcraft: Forever will appear at PAX Aus from October 9–11, 2026 AEDT, with a live keynote presentation, an in-depth look at a new dungeon and a booth where attendees can try the beta.

Keynote and dungeon presentation

World of Warcraft executive producer Holly Longdale will open PAX Aus 2026 as the event's Storytime keynote speaker. Blizzard says Longdale will discuss her career, the continuing evolution of Warcraft and the role player communities have in MMOs.

Longdale will be joined by World of Warcraft associate production director Clay Stone, who is set to present a deep dive into one of the new dungeons planned for World of Warcraft: Forever. The presentation will cover the team's design philosophy, creative process and approach to new gameplay experiences.

Players unable to attend can watch the Storytime opening keynote on the Warcraft Twitch channel or PAX Twitch channel. Blizzard listed the following broadcast times:

  • October 8, 6:00–7:30 p.m. PDT
  • October 8, 9:00–10:30 p.m. EDT
  • October 9, 2:00–3:30 a.m. BST
  • October 9, 12:00–1:30 p.m. AEDT

Hands-on beta and Raid for Riches

The World of Warcraft: Forever booth will be open throughout the event, offering PAX Aus attendees hands-on time with the beta. The booth will also include a themed photo experience and a “Raid for Riches” quest card.

Blizzard says attendees who complete the quests can unlock a World of Warcraft: Forever Pinny Arcade pin and enter a prize draw. The pin is limited to one per person and is available while supplies last.

Longdale and Stone will also hold a signing session on Friday, October 9, from 2:00–3:00 p.m. AEDT in the Meet & Greet room between the Owl Bear Theatre and Drop Bear Theatre.
