Alchemy's camp chain — Mana Well at 20, Fermenter at 140, Alchemy Laboratory at 300 — plus Forever's zone-targeted flasks and new elixirs.

Alchemy covers the camp's mana problem and gives you somewhere to keep brewing.

Skill levels and consumable numbers below come from the beta build; they can still change before launch.

The camp chain

Object Alchemy Effect
Mana Well 20 Nearby players regenerate mana every 5 seconds
Fermenter 140 Creation of certain reagents, plus the Mana Well's effect
Alchemy Laboratory 300 A station for recipes that require it, plus the Mana Well's effect

The well's regeneration does not stack with Blessing of Wisdom, so it earns its slot when your group lacks that buff. Later objects can be placed over the well to replace it, every version needs a campfire nearby, and all camping features share the one-hour cooldown. Blizzard used the Alchemy Laboratory as its Alchemy example for advanced camp objects.

New flasks answer the new zones

Forever's four "Natural" flasks each give +60 Stamina and a bonus that works in Mount Hyjal, Hyjal Summit and the Barrow Deeps — the Hyjal region and the two new raids:

Flask Zone bonus
Natural Accuracy +5% hit chance
Natural Aggression +4% critical strike chance
Natural Precision 5% less chance for your attacks to be dodged or parried
Natural Swiftness +5% haste

They require character level 55, last two hours, persist through death, and only one flask applies at a time. The recipes require Alchemy 300.

Elixirs worth bag space

The beta also lists four level-55, 30-minute elixirs: Elixir of the Owl (+25 Intellect and 2% crit), Elixir of Cunning (+25 Agility and Intellect), Elixir of the Grizzly (+25 Strength and 2% crit) and Elixir of Wicked Regeneration (health and mana every 5 seconds).

Your camp job

  • 20: Mana Well, when the group is short on mana regeneration.
  • 140: Fermenter, so reagent work can happen at camp.
  • 300: Alchemy Laboratory for advanced recipes.
  • Check the zone condition before buying flasks. Their secondary bonuses name Hyjal and the Barrow Deeps, not Onyxia's Lair or every level-60 dungeon. That matters more than assuming the newest flask is always the right pick.

The full object list lives in the camping guide; the professions hub compares every camp role.
