How the TBC DPS tier list is built

The current DPS board uses the Warcraft Logs v2 API for TBC Anniversary: the mean of the top 100 parses per spec and boss, averaged across bosses. Bosses with fewer than 10 parses for a spec are excluded. Earlier raids retain their final phase standings.

Live logs, early-phase caveats

Rankings update as the phase progresses. Early parses skew toward fast guilds and incomplete Tier 6 sets, so expect movement — the snapshot date is shown on the page.

How to read the rankings

Raw DPS is not the raid spot. Stackable specs like Fury Warrior and Destruction Warlock earn multiple slots; one-of picks like Survival Hunter, Arms Warrior, and Balance Druid justify theirs through Expose Weakness, Blood Frenzy, and Improved Faerie Fire.

Tier list questions

What is the best DPS in TBC Phase 3?

Check the current DPS board for the latest order, and choose a boss to compare a particular encounter. Raid buffs, utility, and encounter assignments also matter when choosing a spec.

Is there a tank or healer tier list?

Planned. Tank and healer value is assignment-dependent, so those modes need more than a damage ranking — they publish once the format does the roles justice.

Where does the ranking data come from?

The Warcraft Logs v2 API for TBC Anniversary. The board averages the top 100 parses per spec and boss, then averages across bosses with at least 10 parses. Each raid board shows its snapshot date.
